The Miss Malaysia World 2015 pageant drew to a close on 29 August 2015 at Corus Hotel, with Brynn Zalina Lovett crowned the new Miss Malaysia World 2015. Hailing all the way from East Malaysia, this exotic beauty from Sabah will be representing Malaysia at the Miss World 2015 Final in Sanya, Hainan Island, China end of this year.
Brynn Zalina Lovett, a part-time dancer from Sabah who stands 5’7″ with vital stats of 32-25-35, was crowned as the new Miss World Malaysia last Saturday, August 29.The pageant was held at Corus Hotel KL. Also in the top 5 of the pageant are as follows:
1st Runner Up: Serene Chai Yong Bin (Johor)
2nd Runner Up: Melinda Lee Chen Ling (Penang)
3rd Runner Up: Catherine Chow Kit May (Perak)
4th Runner Up: Natasha Aprillia JS Benggon (Sabah)
Brynn will represent Malaysia at the Miss World 2015 contest which will be held on December in Sanya, China. Malaysia is yet to win a Miss World crown but in 1998 Lina Teoh almost had it by finishing as second princess. Last year, Malaysia’ representative, Dewi Liana Seriestha made it to the Top 26.
At 170cm tall, this elegant professional stage dancer had performed a fascinating fusion dance routine which earned her the subsidiary title of Miss Talent. She is also a certified swim instructor, and managed to take the Miss Fitness and Miss Wacoal titles.
The first runner-up of Miss Malaysia World 2015 is Serene Chai, a 21-year-old actress from Johor, who also won two subsidiary titles: Miss Metrojaya and Miss Popular. The second runner-up is Melinda Lee, a professional model/magician from Penang. Melinda also won the title of Miss Social Media Queen.
The third and fourth runners-up are Catherine Chow and Natasha Aprillia respectively. Catherine, who is a medical doctor by profession, also won the Miss Personality Corus Hotel title.
Miss Photogenic was won by 22-year-old Dhiva Sakti, Miss Elegance by Santhawan Boonratana, who is also a model; Miss Beautiful Hair by 21-year-old Annie Kok, and Miss Natural Beauty by 17-year-old Mae-Ziele Joseph, who was our youngest contestant this year.
