Kota Kinabalu City voted amongst the best in Asia Pacific

KOTA KINABALU has been voted as one of the best resort destinations by readers of CEI Asia (Conferences, Events, Incentives) - a publication for tourism and travel news, conferences, events and incentives.

The vote has put Kota Kinabalu on the same level as Bali and Phuket.

CEI's annual industry survey, the CEI Readers' Choice Awards, has been running for 15 years and sets the benchmark to showcase the Asia Pacific's best in business events.

According to CEI’s website, travel industry heavyweights Singapore and Hong Kong have retained their positions as premier MICE destinations, competing for the top spot in numerous categories.

New nominations from Hainan, the Philippines and Vietnam have made their way into the top three.

This year, the CEI Asia's readers' survey also added new categories, bringing in wins for airlines and newly opened venues.

The city of Kota Kinabalu has been voted one of the best resort destinations by readers of CEI Asia, a publication for tourism and travel news, conferences, event and incentives. This puts Kota Kinabalu on the same level as Bali and Phuket, according to the results.

CEI Asia is pleased to announce the winners of its annual industry survey, the CEI Readers' Choice Awards.

For the past 15 years, CEI Asia's annual industry survey has showcased the best in business events as chosen by our readers, providing valuable insights into the destinations, hotels, bureaus and event agencies that buyers and event planners from across Asia consider to be their preferred choices.

Since our last survey, industry heavyweights Singapore and Hong Kong have retained their positions as premier MICE destinations, competing for the top spot in numerous categories. Meanwhile, a number of new nominations from Hainan, the Philippines and Vietnam have made their way into the top three.

This year, the CEI Asia's readers' survey also added new categories, bringing in wins for airlines and newly opened venues.
